Female medical problems are gaining concern, as women are now openly discussing about these medical problems despite of a few being embarrassing. There are many similar health issues in women and men, but certain health problems may be segregated on the basis of gender.

Female problems may usually include problems with reproductive organs and reproductive cycle as it makes females significantly different than men. Although, this article does not intend to answer the questions about female medical problems, but can certainly help you to seek an answer to the questions.

Few Common Medical Problems in Females:

• Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) – This infection may be caused due to bacteria, parasites or fungi and can infect any part of the urinary system. UTIs are more common in women than in men and it can cause death if goes unnoticed. The most common symptoms of this disorder may be frequent urinations, burning sensation while urination, and pain during urination. The contagious nature of the disorder is a point of debate and hence, it is advised that one should avoid sexual relations till the partner clears the infection.

• Peeing Uncontrollably – This is another common female problem and especially common in women who have had a vaginal delivery of a healthy baby. The disorder is reported in around 8 million women in the United States itself. The reason behind this condition may be weakening of the pelvic muscles. Pelvic exercises may help in regaining the strength and overcoming the embarrassing problem.

• Menstrual Problems – Usual menstrual cycle is of 28 days. However, 25 to 31 days cycle is still considered to be normal. However, general complaints about menstruation are irregular periods, and heavy or less bleeding. The causative factors for this may vary from weight to hormonal imbalance in a woman. Consulting a doctor for confirming the cause and receiving appropriate treatment is advised in such cases.

However, they should understand one thing that until women discuss their issues, the treatment remains held. Hence, women should take up the first step to admit and discuss their problems and move towards overcoming these problems through appropriate treatment.
